Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Workshop for Families

What is an IEP? What kind of supports can my child receive? How do I ask for one? What are my rights? These are some of the many questions parents ask related to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). In order to help parents feel more confident and be the best advocate for their child, Soy Bilingual Speech Therapy will be hosting its first Parent Education Workshop to educate families on how to better understand and navigate the IEP Process.

Sarah Boyle, School Psychologist, will be joining us on Saturday, August 10th to present on IEPs. This workshop will focus on educating parents on the process, the timeline, eligibility requirements, and parent rights related to IEPs. It will be followed by an opportunity for Q&A. Cost: $20 Registration is open to all families. Space is limited. Registration closes on August 7th.
